some days i create things + i really like the results.
today was one of those days.
i made chicken fajitas, + throughout the process, i took countless photos of the process.
running back + forth from my kitchen to my faux, poorly-contrapted studio on my dining room table.
tasty, tasty food.
my boyfriend made this for(of) me:
This Is East Van:
a community photography project.
so thrilled to be a part of TIEV, a beautiful photography book dedicated to east vancouver (where i live).
wrote about that over at my food blog.
a couple weeks ago i got a tweet from mark, one of the team at TIEV:
“@joey_arm_strong Check your e-mail! I want to feature you on the @thisiseastvan website ”
obviously, super exciting.
check out my interview HERE.
This Is East Van is currently in the stages of selecting photos for This Is East Van 2.
selected photographers will be announced october 30.
the first issue can be purchased at various locations around vancouver, as well as online at cargoh.com.

andrea armstrong is designing my website for me. i spent all day yesterday inserting images into dreamweaver. i’m hoping (pushing myself) for an october website launch! with fall approaching (way too quickly i might add), i’ll have no choice but to spend more time inside with my computer. here’s a sneak peak…
take me back to the top!
