this is me. this is where i share pretty photos & awkward words with the world. (i also share other photos & words over at my food blog, my food obsessions).

i grew up in a mix of the tropical jungles in indonesia, the high-rises of singapore, and the rural prairies of canada. i now live in vancouver, bc, & i love it. vancouver is home to many fantastic coffee shops & food joints, and is full of people who care about community & living & eating well. i do too, and i’m always learning more. i attempt to garden, & i just bought a sweet vintage czech bike off craigslist. i don’t really read much, but i like to fill my bookshelf with old books so that i appear smart & bookish. i cook & bake a bit, work at a great local delicatessen, & dream about one day owning my own bed & breakfast.

if you can tell, i love food & coffee. i also love photographing food & coffee. (but i like people just as much as food.)
